Glorious Goodwood Announce Vivien Sheriff As Official Milliner 2014

Glorious Goodwood starts on the 29th of July and is considered one of the most prestigious horse racing meetings on the annual calendar. This year Goodwood Racecourse has announced award-winning British Hat Designer Vivien Sheriff as Official Milliner for Glorious Goodwood 2014.

To mark this Vivien Sheriff have created three bespoke limited edition Goodwood panamas for ladies and gentleman. The panamas will be featured in the Goodwood shop and will also be available at the luxury british department store, Harrods.

Ladies’ Day on the Thursday of Glorious week provides the perfect opportunity for fashion lovers to showcase their summer style as a sea of floral dresses, wedged heels and panamas make their way through the gates. 2014 will for the third year running, host the annual celebrity ladies’ race, The Magnolia Cup. Friday 2^nd and Saturday 3^rd August round off the week in style, with Friday’s highlight race being the Group 2 King George Stakes. Ever competitive, excitement captures the crowd as the thoroughbreds take to the track in this fast-paced race. The Grand Finale ensures Glorious goes down with a bang on Saturday as the Group 1 Markel Insurance Nassau Stakes welcomes the best mares and fillies to battle it out against each other for the 2013 title. Also on the cards is one of the most competitive betting races of the week, the Stewards’ Cup.
