Ducati 899 Panigale is the must have bike for 2014

Ducati is the Italian luxury bike maker known for their prestigious racing history and beautiful production motorcycles. The latest creation to glide out of the Ducati factory situated in Bologna, is the 899 Panigale and we at Lifestyle magazine were hooked at the first glimpse of this magnificent machine.

Panigale is an Italian territory known as “Motor Valley”, where high performance racing vehicles are made. With a name that carries a lot to live up to the Ducati 899 does not disappoint. The V-twin engine produces 148 horse power, that may not sound like much but the 899 Panigale only weighs 169 kg so it can achieve 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds and a top speed of 170mph. That puts the Ducati into super car territory.

Ducati have not only given the 899 Panigale super car performance but also super car technology, with easy to use rider aids such as ABS, DTC traction control, EBC engine braking system. These rider aids can be configured manually or automatically by selecting one of three riding modes, Wet, Sport and Race. This new technology makes the Ducati safer, easier and far less intimidating to ride.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but we at Lifestyle magazine think that it would be a struggle to find anyone who would dislike the aesthetics of this bike, it is simply stunning.
