Chewton Glen To Host The First Aston Martin Long Weekend of 2014

2014 marks the launch of the all new Aston martin long Weekends in the UK. The events are perfect for those who want the luxury and atmosphere of an On Tour event but cannot attend a week away. The first Long Weekend break will be at the renowned Chewton Glen Luxury Spa Hotel from the 11th to the 13th of July 2014. Chewton Glen is located in Hampshire and is situated on the edge of the historic New Forest National Park.

The Long Weekend consists of various exclusive activities in Hampshire and Sussex spread over three days.

FRIDAY

Meet at the famous Goodwood Estate in Chichester, home to Lord and Lady March. After a coffee in the old control tower overlooking the famous race circuit, guests will collect their cars and drive a parade lap around the Goodwood Motor Circuit recreating famous shots from motor racing history. After lunch at the recently refurbished Kennels, there will be a private tour of Goodwood house, including Lord March’s personal art collection, followed by a traditional afternoon tea in the luxurious Egyptian Room.   On arrival at Chewton Glen, join us on the lawn for a glass of Pimms and a game or two of the very English game of croquet. Once you have settled in, enjoy an evening with drinks reception, wine tasting experience (sampling some of England’s best wines), followed by a seven-course gourmet tasting menu.

SATURDAY

Today, Aston Martin invites you to visit Poole, Europe’s largest natural harbour. Poole has stunning beaches, a bustling quayside, fascinating history and is the gateway to the Jurassic Coast. From Poole we will set sail with Sunseeker to take in the stunning costal views, the five islands and the Sandbanks peninsula. Heading back to the mainland, why not spend some time driving around the New Forest on our specifically designed drive route, admiring some local attractions. Then gather for pre-dinner champagne and then a hosted dinner with your Aston Martin team in Chewton Glen’s Vetiver Restaurant.
